■ FUNCTION
The SMART-280 converters RTD and T/C sensor input
to proportional process current output signals.
The output and power supply the same pair of wires.
These loop-powered transmitters deliver high
performance at a low cost.
Rugged construction makes them suitable for
mounting in the field.

RTD and T/C signal linearization
Improves accuracy and reduces drift
Sensor compensation
The sensor generates a signal corresponding to the
actual temperature and is complete with a PTC thermistor
which also electronic system (coldjunction).
