進口氣動襯氟隔膜閥由氣動執行機構和襯氟塑隔膜閥兩部分組成。它接受調節儀表耐的氣源壓力信號（或電信號）開啟或關閉閥門。由于該閥門接觸介質的部位采用高壓注塑工藝有耐腐蝕，耐老化的氟塑料FEP（簡稱F46）或PTFE（簡稱F4），且該閥流路簡單，無填料函，具有阻力小，流量大的優點，廣泛適用化工、石油、冶金、醫藥、電力等工業自動化系統，對強腐蝕、高粘度、含顆粒、帶纖維以及有毒介質的切斷和調節。
