3、進料高度不是越大越好，而是既足夠使用，又不要太大。有的客戶貪圖便宜，以為進料高度越大，就越不用擔心以后不能雕刻厚材料。機器進料高度過大，會導致以下弊端：降低了機器的剛性、振動變大、負載變大導致電機扭矩不足、裝配精度下降、容易斷刀、雕刻不平。

4、常見的石材雕刻機進料高度有30公分、40公分、50公分。一般來講進料高度大于50公分，要采取以下措施：機床材料加厚、加筋以增加剛性；熱處理消除應力減少振動和變形；驅動電機選用大型號以增 大扭力或加裝氣缸；裝配精度要求更高等。
